This peace bench was built at San Domenico School with Whitney Carper's class. They used Bottle Bricks made by Lindsay's trash aka resource to fill the bench. The kids have already baked pizza in the oven and loved the process of making the cob, placing the bricks and eating the pizza.

How's the cob holding up? Have you experienced any cracking, etc? What were difficulties you came across that you could share to another cob bench in progress? Looks absolutely fantastic by the way, were there any restrictions with have an oven at school? How long did it take? I am full of questions.

What a wonderful bench! It brings children both fun and joy, to creat a bench and to make pizza. To my mind it's a very good idea. I would like to see more such benches.

The highlight of the event was the pumpkin race where swimmers had to navigate their way from the starting block to finish with a pumpkin in tow.
